Library of Honesty

Many people in this world do not have the privilege or the resources to sustain a constructive reading habit. Keeping this thought in mind our plan is to set up a mini library at different places of the tri-city so that books are available for reading in the city on walking distance. The main objective of the library is to inculcate the traits of Honesty and Integrity in people.

We hope that the used books will become a medium of education instead of garbage, so that people interested in reading will get to read books for free and many others can also share their used books with other people. These books can prove to be a great medium to educate the needy students and along with their daily studies.

The Library of Honesty usually has about 70 novels on various themes like motivation, self-help, fiction, etc.  Anyone can get any book without any formality from our library of honesty. You can take one book to read at a time and after reading it we hope that you will keep it back in the Donation Book. These Books will be changed in every 15 days so that the readers get to read different books each time.

Along with this, we also accept donations in the form of books and stationery wherever a Books Donation Box has been installed and these books and stationery items received from the Donation Box will be collected and distributed among the economically weaker children.

To install one fully functioning Library of Honesty box we require Rs. 12,600/-  We also require books and you can parcel us your used books, or you can drop them off at our center- Open Eyes Foundation, #10, Khuda Jassu, Chandigarh, 160036 or you can contact us on openeyesfoundationhr@gmail.com.
