This campaign is about providing under-privileged children with different kinds of relevant articles of knowledge. Our main focus is on the 3 R’s on which this program is based- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The objective of our organization is to provide the means that are required by the students to live a meaningful life while keeping the environment in mind.
Under campaign “Raddi Se Shiksha” we provide information about the utilization of old books and making them available to the needy students.
Many children in India are not studying in schools because they cannot afford to buy the necessary items like books, notebooks, school bags etc. Seeing this issue, we have created different programs where we provide under-privileged children with used books.
This campaign is about providing under-privileged children with different kinds of relevant articles of knowledge. Our main focus is on the 3 R’s on which this program is based- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The objective of our organization is to provide the means that are required by the students to live a meaningful life while keeping the environment in mind.
We are fulfilling our objectives by:-
Collecting old books- we collect old books, used registers, pens, and other education related materials from schools, colleges, residential areas, etc.
Organizing special campaigns- we have also been organizing campaigns in different colleges in the Tri-City area and educating the youth about our campaign and asking them to donate their used books and registers.
Reusing old books and stationery- we distribute the books and stationery collected under this campaign by fully utilizing and reusing the available resources. Our goal is to conserve our environment by reducing paper usage to a great extent.
Keeping our focus in mind we reuse and recycle the books till they have surpassed their optimal usage. After the end of an academic session, millions of books and other items are simply thrown out or sold to different street vendors for scrap, and it never sees the light of day again. This not only is a huge wastage of valuable resources but is also harmful for the environment.
