Many children in our country want to study but lack access to books. To bridge this gap, the Open Eyes Foundation launched “Gyaan Ka Safar” — a mobile library that travels to schools, NGOs, and slum/rural areas, providing free educational books to underprivileged children.

Our Mission

To make quality books easily accessible to every child.
To support continuous learning by issuing books every month and revisiting the same communities regularly
To cultivate reading habits among children who may otherwise never get the opportunity to read a storybook
To involve the community in sharing knowledge by encouraging book donations from individuals, schools, and societies
To deliver books directly to the doorstep of underprivileged children, filling the gap where libraries don’t exist

How It Works

Daily Visits: Our mobile library visits government schools, NGOs, and underserved communities every day, bringing books directly to children.

Books Are Issued: Children can borrow books to read at home. On our next visit, they return the books and get new ones — just like a regular library.

Monthly Revisit: We return every month to the same locations, ensuring children continue their reading journey with fresh books each time.

Book Donation Drives: We inspire communities to donate used books, notebooks, and educational material so these resources can reach the children who need them most.
